During the month of May, Juneau has a Spring King Salmon Derby - Mark has been fishing almost daily to try and catch the winner. On Friday Mark caught his second fish this year - a 23.10 pound King Salmon and entered it into the derby. Currently, he is ranked 9th in the Derby!! You can track the derby at www.springkingderby.org to see how he does the rest of the month. I know he will continue to fish so I will try to keep updates on here as well! Wow! That is the first word that came to my mind! That is a huge fish!!! I cannot beleive it! I showed dad and he was in awe! Shannon said the same! Have fun fishing!!! Looks delicious on the BBQ. Dad said that was how guela used to cook it too!
