Last weekend was Mark and my 2nd Anniversary - the 27th of August! Let me tell you, it has gone so fast!! To celebrate we went to the Blue Mussel Cabin. It turned out to be a beautiful weekend and very relaxing for the both of us. We left Saturday late afternoon and got to the cabin by boat about 7pm - enough time for Mark to hike all the gear in and get a fire started and me to crash in bed!!

Sunday morning it was a bit cloudy but it was really warm and it started to clear up to blue skies and the water was glass (as you can see behind me) ! Below you can see me and my growing belly!
Here is a good picture of the cabin - small but very cozy! We loaded everything on our skiff (see above picture - skiff is on the beach) so we thankfully got to bring our super cool lawn chairs that recline :) Camping in style!
On Sunday afternoon we went and pulled our crab pot (we got two dungees but since we had to put the pot back down they escaped :( oh well, next time) and we went fishing for halibut.

Instead of halibut Mark caught a RED SNAPPER!! It was huge! 
Sunday evening we relaxed with a fancy dinner (steak & potatoes), a camp fire, roasted marshmallows/smores and enjoyed the view and each others company. 
Monday we had to pack everything up. Mark did a great job keeping the boat from becoming high and dry as well as packing everything down the beach and loading it all in the boat.

wow!!! That is one huge and very unique fish!!! I love the pics of you and your belly!!! you have to put those up cause I can't see your belly any other way!! You are a very very cute pregnant mommy!! And you will be a great mom!! Looks like you guys had a great anniversary!
