On Mother's Day weekend Caitlin preformed in her first Dance Recital! They held the performances a the Thunder Mountain High school Auditorium on both Saturday and Sunday.
We started with a dress rehearsal at the dance studio. The little girls were great about being patient and waiting for their classes turn.
The theme for Caitlin's dance was Caribbean Breeze - their music, outfits and choreography all fit into this well~
Se was very excited to have her hair and makeup done :)
Before the show and once the girls were all ready to preform, they had a sound proofed music room that they waited in. Caitlin and her friend Indy were able to sneak in some play time~

After the first performance Caitlin was greeting by her Dad, Andrew and Auntie Angie with flowers. The she watched all the other dancers and insisted we video each of them for her to watch later :) She even picked up quite a few moves the other girls were doing too.

Very exciting news for Caitlin - last weekend was her final class of the Winter/Spring course. In the next course she will move up from the Creative Movement Class to the Studies in Movement where they begin learning ballet concepts, developing coordination, strength, flexibility, and musicality. She had her first lesson of 1st position and a demi-plies'.
