Changes in the Back Yard

During the month of May, Mark worked on transplanting some trees into our back yard. The first was a group of hemlock trees. I was thinking he was going to go dig up a tree that was eight to ten feet tall when he presented the idea -- he came home with 20 foot trees! The trees took four grown men to move from the back of the truck to the hole next to the fence. They also took a excavator to dig up!
A special thanks to the guys who helped move the tree from the truck to the hole and also to the Bobcat Store owner here in Juneau for his help digging and lifting the tree into the truck!

Getting ready to move the trees.

 Here we go!
Their upright!

Beautiful!

Next, Mark brought home a 20 foot spruce tree!
Thanks again to all of the guys who came over to help us out!
Woohoo! Our backyard is taking shape!

In addition to transporting/replanting the 20 foot trees, Mark moved sheds around, built a planter box for six arbavida trees we brought in and continues to make beautiful changes in the yard.
