Hello from San Diego

Hi everyone and Merry Christmas! I just wanted to say hi from us here in San Diego. We are doing good and have enjoyed a nice and relaxing day.

We did make it San Diego, it was pretty touch and go if we would make it out of Juneau. We were supposed to leave Juneau on Sunday morning, however, due to our pilot getting carbon monoxide we were delayed. . . then our flight was cancelled due to Seattle's snow storm! We were put on a stand by list and showed up the next day to try and get on a flight. Well we waited and waited with no luck. . . then we were put on the last flight of the day out of Juneau on Monday at 9:30 pm! After de-icing the plane we were off to Seattle! We landed in Seattle just after 1 am and met Mark's family, Randi and Todd. . .  then we were off to find our luggage. There was luggage everywhere, piles and piles of luggage. Mark spotted 4 of our six pieces (have I mentioned that when you travel with baby you have a ton of luggage. . .) A wonderful man found our luggage and we didn't even have to wait in the 1 or 2 hour line. . .   We went upstairs to get Randi and Todd on a standby list with us. They then had seats open up!! So we were on the plane to Seattle at 6:30 am. This meant waiting at the airport for a couple hours in the checking baggage line and security line but totally worth it. God was totally watching out for us on this trip. Thousands of people cancelled their trip plans, were stuck in the airport for days and are still waiting. But we were able to make it.

Yesterday we went to the San Diego Zoo and today we hung low (all of us got the flu bug) and spent the day with family for Christmas.  I don't have the pictures uploaded to post but as soon as we get home I'll get some up for you all!

Again have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We love you all!
