This week has been interesting to say the least! We have been getting spring fever but the snow continued to fall. . . until today!! Hooray for rain!!! (Who would have guessed I'd be jumping for joy over rain!) We are hoping that Spring is finally on it's way in Juneau. . well Spring has brought the Sanders a couple changes!
First if you haven't heard we are expecting a little one! I am 9 weeks along (due about November 10th), everything is going very well for us. I had a doctor's appointment last Monday and they did an ultrasound in the doctor's office, below are the pictures they took for us. I know you can't see much but I wanted to share!! This is our little peanut :)
Ahhh more changes! Caitlin has recently started to love to sit on the toilet for long periods of time (as of this evening). Previously, she was a bit shy, now we can't keep her away!!!! Here's to hoping for a quick and easy toilet training!! (RIGHT!!!)
When you get spring fever in Juneau you just have to get outside! We headed for the Mendenhall Glacier and the waterfall. Caitlin did great on this long walk!
This is the waterfall at the end of the trail. It is pretty much the closest to you can get to the glacier on this side without joining the goats for some rock climbing. Goats? you ask, yes that was the other goal for this walk. . . to find the goats!

The picture above - look almost smack dab in the middle of the picture 0 there are two goats right at the tree line. One is lying down and one is standing with its back to you.
The picture above is a bit more tricky - I don't think Mark believed me when I said I saw goats but if you were to zoom in on this picture you will see two goats in the upper right had corner of the picture. There is a c shaped patch of snow with a goat at the top of the c and one at the bottom of the c. Fun Fun!!

This picture was taken back at our house, it is Thunder Mountain. We are all listening for the avalanches that start coming down in the spring!
New clothes thanks to Auntie Chelsea~~ This was the best shot I could get of her in her new shirt!! Sorry Chelsea, she was being a bit goofy!!
You'd think these are repeat pictures but they are not, we just got to Auke Rec a lot! The snow is mostly gone on the beach, which is much easier for Caitlin to walk on and she loves to see the ocean and doggies!
