Happy New Year everyone! We are doing great and keeping warm/dry. We have had a pretty mild winter, lots of cold weather but just recently we have gotten tons of snow! We got 13 inches of snow yesterday and 5 more today!! Mark has been busy shoveling snow and Caitlin is loving sledding~

Last week Caitlin's friend Alexis had her 3rd Birthday Party. It was a Princess Party complete with a castle cake, dress up clothes and crowns!

Little "Mandrew"
Now this is a true Alaskan girl - it was a beautiful day with clear sunny skies and we drove out to the end of the road. It was only 10 degrees outside and a little too cold to do much else. Well Caitlin had to go potty and there were no bathrooms around, so on the side of the road we had our first outdoor peeing experience! She was such a sport!
So cold and windy - but beautiful!

We also took Caitlin bowling for the first time! This was at the end of her game. She did so well for a 2 year old (even if it was bumper bowling!)

As I mentioned we are doing great and keeping busy - I have about two and a half more weeks before I have to return to work. We have lots planned so stay tuned!!

awww I love seeing new pictures! caitlin looks so precious in that first one with her new pink and black dress :) I love it! and seeing all the scenery pictures makes me even more excited to come up there!!!! its been way too long! I love it that you can just go walk out on the lake and stand by the glacier :) too funny! haha and love the "mandrew" picture! he definitely looks like a little man ;)

Well, Caitlin is a tough alaskan girl and I wonder if anyone else notices that Mandrew is almost as big as Caitlin. I also see you guys don't wear hats even when it's 10 degree's! Keep up the good work,PAPA ps- has Andrew used his BB gun yet?
