Nope, it is not Valentines Day yet! Caitlin has a new friend - a horse named Valentine!
My dear friend Megan has a horse named Valentine and invited Caitlin to come and ride him!
On Sunday we headed to Swampy to give horse riding a try!
She was so excited. She gave Valentine carrots first and got her helmet on.
This is Valentine~
I think she did pretty well right off the bat! Megan taught her to say "walk on" and "whoa".
She even asked Megan to run - twice!
So Megan taught her to say "trot" and off she went!
She also loved when the horse snorted!
She even got to lead Valentine!
This was the most exciting thing - she is still asking about Valentine today!

We are looking forward to our next adventure with Megan and Valentine!

oh my! that horse is huge! or looks huge with just little caitlin on it! I can't believe she led it and wanted it to run! pretty sure I was freaked out my first time riding lol and I was way older! she looks like she LOVED it tho! another hobby to fit into your crazy busy life :)
I think you need to keep this girl occupied any way you can! How do these Alaska horses do with Grizzlies? That is a big grin though!
