House Projects

I couldn't resist adding a few pictures of the kidos at the beginning of this blog!
They are growing up so fast and have such wonderful little personalities!
Caitlin is my riding bike, climbing play equipment, singing, talkative little princess.
Andrew is my screaming (found his voice), trying to walk, wants to feed himself- Mandrew!Andrew doesn't quite want to be held by his sister anymore -

pictures work much better if they sit side by side!

After tub, cuddle time!

As many of you heard, Mark and I have been working on a few house projects these past weeks. We have been trying to add a little color to our very white interior!

So this was my little experiment. . . beforeAfter! The color is called Ganache (like the chocolate). The rest of the walls have the color Fledgling (which is a beige). This project started out as a "I'm just gonna paint one wall" and turned into "well maybe just that wall too". And then it turned into "oh dear, now we have to replace the caulking on the windows" and "I think we need curtains too".

But we both agree it is much more cozy :)It is a work in progress. Oh and we hung pictures on our walls!!Then "I" decided that "We" could easily tile our kitchen back splash! Yep, it should be a breeze! Thanks to a very patient/talented husband and some tips from Dad, we did it! I worked to get the tiles on the wall, Mark took the hardest task of grouting the walls and we cleaned the tiles together. Totally a project of love (and made a few memories!)

I have some pictures of the before on the March "Chelsea Came to Visit" blog if you are looking for a few comparisons. http://marklaceysanders.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

We just wanted to share what we have been up too the last few weeks. . . we are still working on the little touch ups, but it is really coming along!
