Happy Fathers Day!

Okay I know I am a little late for Father's Day but I wanted to wish all Father's a great day anyways! We have been super busy this month - the last post was the 1st of June!! The 2nd weekend in June, Mark and I were in a CO-ED Tournement. We placed 2nd~ It was a long weekend but very much worth it! For Father's Day we went on our first overnighter on the boat. It worked out really great and the weather was wonderful. We left on Saturday morning and traveled out towards Hoonah. We halibut fished for most of the day at Sister's Islands and were successful with 3 nice sized halibut (size - 15 to 20 lbs). The afternoon got a bit choppy so we headed into a place called Swanson Harbor and tied up for the night. We had a great dinner of bbq and Caitlin slept almost all the way through the night :) The next morning we did a bit more halibut fishing, trolled for salmon and then Mark caught a 25 lb halibut at Point Retreat! We also pulled up our shrimp pots on the way back home! We couldn't have asked for better weather and the trip was a success!! We will be taking advantage of overnighting on the boat more and more!!

Caitlin was such a trooper on this long trip - she did end up getting bit sea sick the last day. Usually she is only on the boat for 3-5 hours, over 24 was a lot for her. Since she wasn't feeling well, I got to cuddle with her a little more than she normally lets me. She is so busy now!!This weekend I am playing in a Women's Tournament - we have 1 game tomorrow afternoon at 1pm and if we win that we will be going to the championship game!! If you think of us, pray for us!! This is the first time I have played on a women's christian team and I am loving it so much! These women are such a blessing and so much fun!!
