Memorial Day Weekend & More

(sorry in advance - the pictures are a bit out of order) We spent Friday and Saturday out on the water for Memorial Day weekend. Mark had to work most of the weekend but we were totally able to make the most of it. We pulled up our shrimp pots and got a few shrimp. It was Caitlin's first time on the boat with them. . . she liked them at first and then once they jumped by themselves in the bucket of water she wanted nothing to do with them!
Touching a Shrimp
Checking out what is in the bucket. We were totally blessed with BEAUTIFUL weather - nice and hot (70's) and glass water!
We are so blessed to live in an amazing and beautiful place.

Cheese!Snack time!We brought our grill and BBQ'ed on the boat for dinner :)We were also blessed to see some great wildlife, there was a pod of about 8 killer whales, multiple humpback whales and a couple sealions! My brother Spencer came to Juneau yesterday and Mark was able to take him out fishing this afternoon. The King Salmon run is finally here! Spencer caught two fish in one afternoon!! Grizzly Man
These pictures are for Guela~ On Monday while Mark was at work Caitlin and I had our own little tea party with the china tea set Guela got for Caitlin's 1st Christmas. She did so good being careful and was too precious pretending to drink tea! This kept her occupied for quite a while~
She loved the fact that the lids came off and went back on!
And on Sunday we took Caitlin to the park to play. . . we then let her go in the lake! Of course she ended up wet and rode home in a diaper - that is how these pictures came about! Tasha, we finally got to use the lawn mower for real! BUBBLES and ALL! She cruised around the yard pushing that mower along like a pro.
How fast can I go to get away from mom and nap time!!Thank goodness for SUNSHINE!!
