Mark, his friend Ty and Ty's son Riley headed to Sweetheart's Creek last Friday morning (early I might add!) to fish for Sockeye Salmon. We have had amazing weather - blue skies, 80+ degree weather and nice water!
I wasn't there so I don't really know how to tell their story, but I do know there was good times!
And brown bears always near by. . . .
Ty and Mark had an amazing spot to fish with their throw nets. Apparently they were nearly tipped over in the raft on the way from the boat to the beach by some other impatient fishermen. Those fishermen wanted to get the prime location. But apparently they didn't know where that was. Mark and Ty made it to this other location and did outstanding.

Now comes the fun work - cleaning the fish, smoking and packaging the fish!!
Nice work guys, Megan and I are impressed!
