Fish, Sunshine and Grandma

This blog is a little late, but my Mom came to visit us a few weekends ago. We had a wonderful time enjoying the sunshine and even had an opportunity to take her out fishing for coho salmon.
On Friday we enjoyed lunch at "the Hat" (El Sombrero)We spent time together Sunday afternoon hanging out at the house~
Eating. . . Coloring~ Making Banana Bread. . .
And just enjoying each others company!
On Saturday we all went out fishing at Cordwood and Point Retreat for Coho Salmon. What was expected to be a wet and cloudy day, ended up as an absolutely beautify sunny day. So nice it was almost too warm for jeans n shirts! Caitlin loves the rides to the location and back to the harbor, we go fast and she loves the "windy" and "bumpy".Captain MarkI am so in LOVE with this picture!
My little girl is such a happy and energetic little sweetheart!Grandma and the youngest of her grandkidos! He is such a little snuggler, all the time and especially on boat rides.
We did a little crab shelling while waiting for the big fish to bite!
SO HAPPY!!It was so glassy on the water - amazing for August!Anyone for a little shrimp on the barbie??Yes, she can reel in a fishing pole all by herself! We haven't actually tried with a real live salmon on the line but she does help Dad reel in the lines when they need new bait or at the end of the day :)Fish on!!It's a beast! Not too bad for a day on the water in the sunshine!

Thanks for coming to visit Mom!

It was great to see you, catch up and spend some time together!
