December 2011 - Visitng Santa at a Fish Hatchery

This year we went to visit Santa at the DIPAC (Douglas Island Pink and Chum) Hatchery. The Juneau Co-Op Preschool was hosting the event and it included Santa, hot coco, cookies, coloring, the touch tank, story time and a treat for the kids. Viki and I took the kids at the perfect time of the day - there wasn't even a crowd!

This year we (the kids) decided to sit next to Santa, not on his lap!
This picture was taken prior to sitting next to Santa - there were some deep conversations going on!
Were getting closer!A treat - candy canes of course!Caitlin in one of her Christmas dresses~I love my little girl!!Andrew in front of the bear - grrr!
Checking out the aquarium~Andrew was just mesmerized by this crab~
Granny, Andrew and Caitlin~Mommy, Andrew and Caitlin~The big aquarium~I see a halibut! She's got the pose down!Fishie!
The Juneau Co-Op Preschool did a wonderful job - we look forward to next year!!
