January 2012 - A Mellow Start to a New Year

New Years Day 2012 - we stayed home and relaxed!

Andrew was busy with his cars, trucks and airplane~

And Caitlin was excited to try on her new skinny jeans!

We walked to the play ground near our house the following weekend -
some quality Mommy and kid time :)
Amazingly I got two pictures - with both kids smiling - they love the outdoors!

Cheese Mom!It was very, very cold outside - the clear and crisp cold! (This is Thunder Mt next to our house.)Caitlin all dressed up as our Vietnamese princess! It's a giant duck attacking me!!!

My grocery helper -a prize for excellent behavior while shopping. . .
a quarter to ride the tractor truck. We also celebrated our friend Alexis' 5th birthday at the beginning of January. She is the one in the purple dress with the long, blond wig.
It was a "Tangled" birthday complete with dress up for all!

There were walks out at the Mendenhall Glacier.

(At this point I'm betting Granny was wishing for that Hilo sunshine and warmth!!
It was a bit cold on this day.)
