Out and About on a Sunday

Last Sunday we kept pretty busy :) We spent some time out at Auke Rec to run/swim Brew :) Andrew found rock throwing quite entertaining!

These kids love their bikes - we are taking full advantage of the weather lately before the snow hits! So we loaded the bikes up and went on the bike path at Twin Lakes. 

Caitlin just cruises now - she loves to be first and out in front.

Andrew is usually close behind - he's got the hang of this bike riding.

This pathway leads to the Twin Lakes park - Andrew wanted to park his bike before. . . .

Flying (yes, flying to me!) down this hill - over and over and over again!

Caitlin took to the rings - she's gotten pretty good at these :)

Earlier before the beach and the park we also headed to Swampy Acres to meet up with my friend Megan and her horse Valentine!

Caitlin was up on Valentine first and Andrew was helping walk him.

These kids of course had a lot of questions about Valentine and the other horses at the barn.

Then we paused to let Andrew have a turn. . .

And Valentines head came towards Andrew. . . . he backed up pretty quickly. He was content just walking Valentine and holding the lead. Maybe another time we'll try a ride :)

Then we got to watch Valentine roll around and scratch his back!!

The perfect way to start a Sunday and keep busy! Tomorrow is another full Saturday  - swim lessons start early in the morning, followed by a friends birthday party and Mark comes home!! Woohoo!! We are excited to see him!
