A Field Trip to the Juneau Police Department

Last summer Caitlin's preschool class also took a field trip to the Juneau Police Department and once again I had the pleasure of joining this fantastic group of kids. Marci (the lead teacher in the classroom) does an excellent job communicating expectations for this group of twenty 3-6 year olds~ They are very well behaved. Case in point - some of the students arrived at the police station with parents prior to the others, they were so well mannered while they waited!

Lined up and heading in on the tour!
They were allowed in the officer's debriefing room and even allowed to take a seat!
They were allowed in the lab~And the best part, they were allowed to sit in the back of a police car! The officer who took us on our tour even sounded off the sirens :)
Up close, it was really loud!Caitlin's turn!
Checking out the call center and talking about 911 ~So much fun with these kids~ I can't wait to see what Marci comes up with this year!!
