October 2011 - Fall Days

One fall afternoon in October we headed to our local duck pond to feed the ducks - this is quite entertaining for the kids because the ducks will come right up to you and are not afraid at all.
Mark was able to get a few ducks to "jump" up to grab the bread~
It was more difficult to get on camera. . . this was another attempt to take a picture of the ducks "jumping" ;) no success in the photography area here!
Andrew off making friends with his group of followers~
And Caitlin standing as close as she could to Dad, cause the ducks keep coming closer!
I love this! A Father- Daughter moment caught on film!
Andrew really wanted to hold the ducks - fortunately they ducks are smart enough to not let his hands get close enough!
Caitlin cracked me up - flapping like a duck??
We also took a walk this afternoon at the Auke Lake trail which winds from one end of Auke Lake around to the University side. A good walk to wear these kidos out! Caitlin was in a very photogenic mood - I caught a couple great shots of her.I think she likes to have her picture taken!!
This was her hiding spot while we were playing hide n go seek during our walk~And just a few more - this is at the play ground next to our house. It is referred to as the spider web and Caitlin is quite the little spider! This is as high as I will let her go - Dad might let her go higher but I'm afraid of the fall! In just a few years she'll be attending this elementary school and then she can climb to the top when Mom's not around, right!?!

Looks like you are doing the same thing as me.....catching up on the blog! :)
I just finished 2010 and am about halfway through 2011. The only reason I really care is I'm making them into a hard copy book...one for each year as a journal of our family life. :)
Love seeing all your pictures. The kids are getting so big!

Thats what lacey does! I should be more intentional and make a book or develop pictures more than every 6 months haha you can totally tell when caitlin is in a photographic mood! LOVE it!!
