October 2011 - Pumpkin Carving & Treats

Our family enjoys the fall season and along with that we really enjoy Halloween! We love to partake in all of the traditional activities - especially pumpkin carving~

Getting ready to clean out the insides!
Andrew wasn't really into the pumpkin carving - this picture is a great example of Andrew's personality. There will always be a car, truck or tractor in hand :)
You want me to do what! (On another note, he doesn't like his hands dirty!! Such a boy :)
Thank goodness Mom's here!!I believe his exact words were "gross!" Caitlin on the other hand - she loved it!
We had 4 pumpkins to clean, Caitlin was a trooper!Cheese!Mark let Caitlin draw a face on her pumpkin this year - don't worry, she didn't get to use the knife!
The end result! Two smiling faces!

Not too shabby!
With candles at night (in the rain of course!)

I am also keeping busy with classroom treats for the kids - I made hot dog mummy's :) (sorry the picture loaded upside down)And I made pumpkin cookies~Ahhh and the costumes!A preview of the Halloween parties to come!
Caitlin was a pink color crayon and Andrew was a dinosaur!
More to come!! Check back soon~
